Sermon Title: "The King Who Serves" (Mark 9:2-10:52)
Sermon Outline:
1. If there is one glaring lesson from Palm Sunday, it is you can worship loudly ... and still misunderstand Jesus deeply. Does this concern you?
2. Did you ever wonder, if you were in the crowd when Jesus rode in on a donkey, if you would have reacted the same way?
3. Can you say with confidence that you don't react that same way today?
4. How do you feel about serving when it cost you, serving when it's unseen, or serving when it humbles you?
5. In Mark 9-10 we see Jesus moving towards the overlooked and helping the blind beggar and calling children close. Who do we walk past that Jesus would stop for?
