Sermon Title: "When You're Finally Ready"
(John 5:1-15)
1. What if the biggest obstacle to your healing isn't your past ... but you're unwillingness to let it go?
2. Have you ever become so comfortable with your pain that the thought of changing actually scares you?
3. If Jesus completely changed you today, what part of your identity would you have to leave behind?
4. Are you asking God to remove your problems... while quietly protecting the attitudes that keep creating them?
5. What if the prison door has already been opened - but you're still holding onto the bars?
6. Is it possible to want forgiveness more than transformation?
7. When Jesus asks, "Do you want to be made well?" ... would you honest answer be "Yes" or "I think so"?
8. What is the life God has planned for you begins on the other side of 2 words: "I'm willing".
