1. How often do you give up something for Lent that extends past the 40 days?
2. Do you think the Lord is interested in what I give up for just 40 days and then return to it? Or is He interested in me giving up the sins in my life which will make Easter more joyous?
3. How can we use the 40 days of Lent to prepare our hearts for Christendom's most sacred Holy-Day?
4. Year after year, as you give up the same things like chocolate, social media, no meat, no tv, no restaurants, do you feel that it has ever drawn you closer to God?
5. If you were to ask God what He would like you to do for Lent to prepare your heart for Easter, what do you think He would say?
